I am a PhD (candidate) in Economics from Syracuse University, continuing my career in International Trade and Development.

My professional interests include topics in international trade, political economy and economic development of Latin American countries. My current research focuses on the effects of Antidumping duties on Brazilian firms and their workers. 

Originally from Chile, I hold a B.S. in Economics form the University of Chile; a double M.A. in Economics and International Relations from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in Economics (expected graduation in Spring 2024) from Syracuse University. 

I previously worked as an Economist in the Latin American Steel Association, where I was responsible for producing and communicating technical reports on global and regional economic statistics and commercial trends, industry indicators and policies relevant to the Latin American steel industry.
